My
battleground lies on the border of reality and unreality, of consciousness
                and unconsciousness.
I seek neither a style nor originality, nor even the command of
a subject, only that of myself when faced with a very blank and
                very empty canvas.
              Then
I become an accurate instrument that listens and transforms all
that exists in the air. I invent nothing. I give birth.
              I
am an angels’ catcher: I merely take what is already there
by giving substance to the invisible.
If people often recognize water, air, earth or fire in my paintings,
it’s because every creature is essentially made out of those
elements. It’s just the mixture that changes.
              As
soon as the first brushstrokes are applied, DNA begins to act.
Afterwards, there’s nothing to do but deciphering the codes,
finding the formula and lending a hand.
              When
the matter starts to come alive, it’s time to keep quiet.
